The mt wellington start was a real treat, brilliant views - very cold and rich had brought extra warm gear which was essential! The rainforest section and later sections ensured a real variety of views, terrain and history.

  Best experience in Tassie!  - There had been a big dump of snow overnight and we were excited about it but also concerned we wouldn’t be able to ride from the top.
We turned... read more up to check in and our pre measured bikes were labelled and ready to go. As anticipated, the summit was closed so we rode a 10km forest ride from Fern Tree, which was beautiful and it certainly warmed us up! By the time we returned to the van, the summit was open and we headed up there with the masses. The view was glorious. So clear, white and fresh (the temp “felt like” -7 degrees 🥶). The professional decision was made that it was too dangerous to ride due to patches of black ice and heavy traffic. The party of 7 agreed.
We drove to a location further down the mountain and enjoyed a guided downhill bush ride all the way back to the office.

Our family group of 3 (54, 52 & 17th) was thrilled with the tour and knowledgeable tour-guide, Richard, and very grateful to even see the summit. We’re keen to do it again, next time we visit Tassie.

This ride is well suited to beginners like myself as it is all downhill!

Everything was supplied from the bikes, helmets, hivis and gloves.

This was the best day out and my husband and I had an absolutely fantastic day!

  Fantastic experience throughout!  - Booked a day hire and shuttle up to Mount Wellington summit to ride the North-South track, and our experience was excellent from booking to riding. We got helpful and clear... read more information whilst booking (last minute on our end), then a friendly welcome from Rich and Phil when we turned up. Rich fitted the bikes to us and gave us clear instructions and explained things when we asked questions about dual suspensions bikes as we hadn’t ridden these before. In the shuttle to the summit, Rich was full of facts and info about the mountain and showed us where the north-south track started so we didn’t miss the turn off on our descent. All in all, a fantastic experience!

  Fun, exciting ride without too much physical effort. Perfect for a guy in his 50s.  - A very exciting ride through beautiful country. Best bit was not having to exert myself but still have the adrenaline pumping sometimes as we rode down the slopes.

  Fantastic view and great ride with minimal effort or experience required  - Excellent Scott bikes Richard was our guide/ leader and was fantastic in both his knowledge of flora and fauna and attention to the groups needs!

  Sunday, February 16th, bike tour.  - Start to finish, this bike tour was wonderful. Upon arrival to our morning meeting point, we met Zoe, then we met Phil. Zoe got us all squared away... read more with gear, and safety equipment. Nice warm gloves, a good helmet, and a warm coat was offered if needed. Also, since the start of the ride would be quite windy and cold, hand warmers were provided. Both used for hands and for toes too. Thanks for those. Us, along with 2 other couples, were loaded in the van and with bicycles in tow, taken to the Mt. Wellington summit. That in itself was a bonus of the tour. A bike fitting on the summit, along with a ride around the summit to familiarize ourselves with the bikes, had us ready to start the first part of our downhill ride. I will say the bikes were of high quality, and well taken care of. I felt safe and secure in the saddle. For the first part of the tour Phil drove the van and trailer behind us, to act as a warning to vehicles coming up behind us. With prearranged stops along the way to regroup and check in, we made it to our transfer point. Bike’s trailered, we were driven to the other side of the mountain for an even more fun ride all the way back down through the rainforest, to our starting point. This being led by Phil, on his bike. So much more was experienced during the ride, including wonderful commentary and information from Phil. He did such a good job with us. It was safety first for Phil and his time with us. The tour lasted over 4hrs. The time flew by. This was a quality ride, and we would absolutely do it again if we had the chance. Thank you Phil, and Zoe.

It was so well organized... read more and we were treated with great care for our enjoyment and safety. It was a very cold morning with it sleeting at the start of our ride, but they made sure we would be warm enough for the ride. Hand warmers, gloves and a warm vehicle were provided. We greatly appreciated this! The rain forest portion was spectacular! Phil was very informative and provided an exceptional experience. Super fun and informative. I would highly recommend this ride to others!

  Limited  - Just a fun adventure from start to finish. Very well looked after and all previous experience catered for. Informative breaks. Enjoyed the first 6km descent from the summit the best.

  Biking down the mountain  - This was an amazing adventure! Phil was an awesome guide. This is a “do not miss” day believe him when he says it’s cold! But beautiful!

  Great ride, which was both fun & informative - Great day out with these guys. Even though the wind was too strong to start the ride at the very summit, they took us up there to have a look,... read more & then started the ride about 1km below, where we were more protected. This didn't dampen the day, as both Phil & Zoe were full of information about the area & our safety was high on their list of priorities. The ride was great for all levels of experience. Even my wife, who was a bit hesitant to go along at first, really enjoyed the whole day, especially the ride through the rain forest, where we had a few stops for more informative chats.
Thanks for a great tour, that was well worth the price.

  Best thing to do in Hobart.  - Just do it. Best thing we did in Tassie. Worth every cent. Great communication from booking online to instructors on the trail. I'd do this again.

Luckily, the... read more weather cleared, and we could start the ride after relevant safety checks and advice. Rich was very informative about places along the track as well as the road conditions ahead and how to ride them. A good way to fill in a few hours.

  Kids and I loved it  - Loved it. Nice and easy downhill trail. Great guides. Excellent views. Cold at the top of my Wellington and warmer for the rainforest ride.
