The Trails

Mount Wellingtons most iconic trail is the North South track. This trail traverses Mt Wellington from The Springs to Glenorchy’s Mountain Bike Park. You should expect this to take between 1 and 2 hours depending on your speed, fitness and the amount of times you stop for photos! Glenorchy’s MTB Park has hosted a round of the National Titles and has something for everyone.

South Hobart sits on the lower section of Mount Wellington. With a local guide, you will ride some simply awesome trails thOHO fat you are unlikely to find alone. You have a choice of riding in and out of SOHO (South Hobart) or you can ride half of the North South track and drop down into SOHO from Junction Cabin.

The Meehan Range has a massive network of trails that you could easily happily get lost in. Commonly known as the Clarence Mountain Bike Park, it has something for everyone. It regularly hosts rounds of Tassies Enduro series and some trails like the Meehan Monster and Clarence Downhill will test the metal of experienced riders. If your fitness allows, you could easily spend a whole day here and not ride it all.
