The Business
Tasmanian Mountain Bike Adventures is a family-owned business based in South Hobart, in southern Tasmania.
We offer a wide range of tours and services for riders of every level. Our personalised multi-day tours take guests all over our beautiful state, dropping into some of Australia's finest trails.
Closer to home, from our South Hobart office, we are kept busy shuttling and guiding riders around the trails on the slopes of kunanyi / Mt. Wellington.
Dream to Reality
Company owners, Zoe and Phil Exton, launched the business in 2017. Phil has decades of experience riding trails in Tasmania and overseas, and it was his dream to set up a mountain bike tour business.
The arrival of Blue Derby was the game changer, and they decided to go for it. Phil left his job as a school principal, and Tasmanian Mountain Bike Adventures was born.

In 2022, Tasmanian Mountain Bike Adventures received Australian Tourism Accreditation, acknowledging our quality and sustainable business practices.
Awards
We were delighted and very proud to win Silver at the 2023 Tasmanian Tourism Awards, in the Adventure Tourism category.
We also achieved TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Award in 2023.
