Mt Wellington Rainforest Ride
Our most popular guided group tour is the Mt Wellington Rainforest Ride.
A delightful, easy riding, guided adventure that gently descends through spectacular temperate rainforest.
Experience towering eucalyptus forests, giant man ferns, waterfalls, breathtaking views, historic aqueducts, crystal clear babbling streams, and catch a glimpse of the curious local wildlife.
This activity has numerous options, but allow 3 or 4 hours for the excursion. Return transfers from the city are also an option.
It's a relatively easy ride, downhill all the way, minimal fitness required.
Riders should be comfortable on a bike, with good basic bike handling skills.
This tour can be scheduled to combine with other local attractions and activities, such as MONA, boat cruises, kayaking, local breweries, vineyards, and restaurants.
Guided Bike Tour & Guided Walk
We can also offer clients the option of a guided walk on Mt Wellington; and the bike ride and walk can happen simultaneously. This combination of activities has broad appeal, and the entire group gets to experience the natural beauty and wonder of Mt Wellington.
