Last year my two younger boys did the North-South track down Mt Wellington on normal dual suspension mountain bikes. I’m not a mountain biker so the boys went by themselves and loved it. This year I hired e-bikes for all of us and joined in the fun. The boys were wrapped I could join them. We rode down the north-south track to the Glenorchy Mountain Bike park where the boys had fun on the jumps. Then we all rode back up the track to where we began and yes I made it. A short rest before following some other trails back down the mountain to the office. It was an all day task but even I survived. Highly recommend the Mt Wellington decent with forest trail for a totally different perspective of Hobart. Phil broke up the downhill trip with some great historical insight along the way, and provided a lot of handy little tips to ensure our ride was comfortable!
